AVA P2P – Vermont – October 2023

AVA held their second Peer-to-Peer (P2P) of 2023 on October 24th-25th in Burlington, Vermont.  Nineteen VAWA Administrators from 16 states participated in the two-day discussion.

The in-person meetings are designed to provide networking opportunities for VAWA Administrators,  During the meetings, administrators are encouraged to share resources, experiences, forms, templates, policies, etc., with their colleagues.  With this format, administrators benefit from learning how other states/territories across the country are addressing key VAWA-related issues.  The face-to-face conversations promote a confidential, judgment free exchange of ideas among peers.

For this P2P, discussion topics included, Implementation Planning, prosecutor certification requirements, grant monitoring, the new progress report database, grant extensions, STOP reporting requirements, and much more.
