AVA Connect Conversation re Implementation Planning – October 14, 2021
Good afternoon to everyone! I hope that you are all planning something fun for the upcoming weekend.
On October 14th, 2021 at 2:00pm EST, we will have our 5th AVA Connect Conversation devoted to Implementation Planning.
October’s conversation will focus on the full scope of required consultations (non-tribal), including those with victim service providers, law enforcement, prosecution, courts, Coalitions, underserved communities, etc. to enhance system-wide collaborations.
If you are interested in participating in this upcoming conversation, please email me and I will sign you up and send you a Zoom link in about a week.
This week, we held our fourth AVA Connect Conversation on Implementation Planning on September 29th. September’s conversation was about Tribal Consultation requirements and suggestions for outreach.
There were 22 VAWA Administrators that participated in the meeting and we received great feedback from them about how helpful/valuable the conversation was for them.
If you had hoped to participate but could not, I am attaching the handout from that meeting that summarizes some of the discussion areas we reviewed.
Take care,
Barry
